Bray Lions Club

Throughout the year, Bray Lions Club collects used eyeglasses and delivers them to regional Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers (LERCs). LERC volunteers clean, sort by prescription strength and package the glasses. Most of the recycled glasses are distributed to people in need in developing countries where they will have the greatest impact.

In the past, the young students from our PAWS Project helped to sort the spectacles to be sent for recycling.

We have collection boxes for used spectacles in Bray Recycling Centre and in a number of the Opticians around Bray. If you have a spare pair, why not drop them into us.
