Sea Swim 2017

34th Annual Swim

Announcing the Bray Charities Sea Swim for 2017 Bray Lions Club President Jerry Teehan said this remarkable event has over the last 33 years raised €321,888 for many local worthy causes. It is wonderful to have it as the first event in the year in which we will celebrate 30 years of Lions in Bray.

Bray Lions Club is seeking your help to spread the word verbally, and by Facebook and Twitter !

With many of the swimmers turning out in fancy dress, this is always a very enjoyable and colourful event, and we all love a challenge!

Out of the many deserving charities, Bray Charities Sea Swim has decided to choose four
and this year we have chosen as our charities for 2017:

Wicklow Hospice
WH 5 Loaves, Bray
Order of Malta, Bray
Bray Lions Senior Citizens/Carers' Fund

Remember no admin costs are incurred, the entire fundraising proceeds will go directly to these local charities. Bray Lions Club Members pay all costs of running the Swim.

Dr Brendan Cuddihy of Wicklow Hospice encourages as many people as possible to take part in this important and long established fundraising event.
