This event was set up 29 years ago for the dual purposes of having some festive fun and raising funds for local charities. It has raised Euro 274,884 to date for a long list of worthy local causes.

The last seasonal splash raised Euro 18,600 in aid of local charities. Many charities have benefited from the swim over the years. With many of the swimmers turning out in fancy dress, this is always a very enjoyable and colourful event.

Many people and charities are experiencing financial hardship at present and for this reason we have chosen this 4 groups as our charities for 2013:

Bray Lakers Social & Recreation Club
Open Door Day Care Centre
Sa Bhaile Homeless Project
Bray Lions Club Senior Citizens' Fund
