How do I become a Lion?

Becoming a Lion is simple. You should first decide whether you can afford a small amount of time to help the needy of your community. If you decide that this is for you, simply contact Bray Lions Club and talk to one of the members.

There is a perception in some circles that to be a Lions Club member you are required to dedicate much of your leisure time to Lionism - this is not so. In Lions, we stress that a member's family and career come first and foremost. Lions service come sometime after these two important factors are satisfied. Of course any club would seek regular participation from its members but the decision to participate is always with the member.

Each Club Member pays an annual subscription towards the administrative costs of running the club. We are always looking out for new members to help 'Strengthen the Pride', so please get in touch with us !
