Sea Swim 2019
(36th Annual Swim)
Last Year's Swim
Click the date of the post or the comment icon at the bottom to view all photos
Set up over 35 years ago for the dual purposes of having some festive fun and raising funds for local charities, this yearly event has to date realised Euro 342,614 for a long list of worthy local causes.
Bray Lions Club request readers to help us spread the word, verbally and by social media.
With many of the swimmers turning out in fancy dress, this is always a very enjoyable and colourful event. Many people and charities are experiencing financial hardship at present and for this reason we have chosen as our charities for 2019:
Wicklow Rapid Response (WWRR)
Bray Area Rough Sleepers Support (BARSS)
Bray Women's Refuge
Bray Lions' Senior Citizens' / Carers' Fund
Remember no admin is incurred, the entire fundraising proceeds will go directly to these local charities.
